It’s spring! You know what that means? Time for spring cleaning! Although cleaning isn’t the most popular of tasks, here at TKI, we try our best to make it as easy for community members as possible with our community clean-up days.

As you begin to declutter your life and prepare for summer, don’t forget about home and lawn maintenance! Assisting with tidying up every part of the community is an important goal of our clean-up days.

We only do this once a year, which is why we do it at a time when people commonly get rid of big things that are otherwise difficult or inconvenient to throw out. Spring is also the most common time of year that people have a lot of yard waste to dispose of.

On Community Clean-up day, we’ll accept anything from cabinetry, furniture, and appliances to concrete. We take your accumulated junk and properly dispose of each item for you. The best part is that you don’t have to lift a finger to get out of your car, we do all the work!

For a list of items you can potentially dispose of, click here. However, don’t let the list limit what you bring; we accept nearly everything short of hazardous waste!

We will host a community clean-up day at our Cold Spring location on Saturday, May 6 and at our Glenwood location on Saturday, May 20. Usually, we are closed on Saturdays but for the convenience of our customers, we always have this event on a Saturday. If you have any questions, please, feel free to contact us!
